Our epigenetic inheritance includes not only the traumas our people experienced but also the resilience, strengths, and blessings of our ancestors and there particular medicines.
My own experience of family and ancestors was one of trauma and burdens. It felt very heavy and I felt guilty of being alive after the Shoah. What changed everything for me, was to find a frame where we connect with well ancestors prior to the traumas of our lineages, and it is with their support and guidance that the healing happens. From there, a greater sense of belonging , connection and ressource started to permeate my life. Our well, wise, loving ancestors can release the flow of blessings, and unstuck difficult patterns that are repeating generations after generations in our families.
From that place, we are more available and supported to bring our gifts into the world and to affect changes as we feel called too.
What is Ancestral Lineage Healing ?
Ancestral Lineage Healing refers to the method articulated by Daniel Foor to support personal, family, and cultural healing. It places emphasis on relating with the ancestors as lineages or groups rather than individuals only. And it is based on making connection with the well ones, as far back in time as needed, so they can support the healing of more recent troubles or trauma.
This modality is based on the understandings that consciousness extends beyond the living, that not all of the dead are equally well and that the living and dead can communicate and strongly impact each other.

Ancestral healing is available to everyone who chooses to engage with ancestors. You don’t need to be spiritual or experienced in ritual. For those of us who did not grew up within a frame of ancestral reverence, this is a work of repair that implies a reclamation of other ways of relating, like our ability to perceive through intuition. Ultimately, my experience is that this is actually a very simple and embodied practice, that we got estranged from.
